Technical Verification (TV) differs from Deposit Evaluation Services (DES) in that TV is a more detailed, in-depth examination of the deposited materials. A full TV consists of an analysis and compilation. In short, the analysis determines if there are any preliminary reasons the deposit is not complete and the compilation proves that the end user software can be created using the escrowed materials.
