Media Vault Specification
Escrow Associates provides media vault storage in the US, UK & Canada under our standard escrow agreements.
We believe that a quality media vault facility is the only acceptable facility in which to store electronic media. Unless contractually obligated otherwise, Escrow Associates stores all escrow deposit materials in Media Vault facilities. These facilities were built specifically to store, protect and preserve electronic media.
Below is a description of the primary Media Vault located in Atlanta, Georgia.

Environmental Controls:
|
The atmospheric conditions with in this facility are maintained at 30 - 35% humidity and 68 degrees Fahrenheit to preserve electronic media.

Security:
|
The entire premises is under 24-hour security monitoring. Access to the building is restricted at all entrances and limited to standard business hours only. Access to the vault facility is limited to employees and guests only by key- card access and the vault itself has an external steel vault door. Back-up generators onsite protect against power failures with in the vault facility.

Fire Prevention / Intervention:
|
Entire vault is Class 125 - 4 hour rated against fire and is surrounded by 2 hour rated fire barriers. FM-200 System maintained within the vault in case of internal fire. All ventilation & conditioning systems are designed to form and air-tight seal to protect vault contents in case of fire.
All areas external to the vault are protected by water sprinklers and fire alarm system and is compartmentalized between 2 hour fire barriers.

High temperature insulation:
|
The vault panels are constructed from spun ceramic material capable of withstanding temperatures well above 2000 degrees Fahrenheit.

Solid framework:
|
Unique structural steel design that offers three times the strength of normal building construction. Internal (Media Vault) cage construction ensures integrity of facility.

|
Magnetic shielding:
|
Components protect against the most common electromagnetic fields that can damage media stored in one location.
|
|
Essential environmental planning and design:
|
Pre-designed to integrate dust and vapor resistant lighting, humidity control, and fire suppression systems which are not harmful to the environment and do not add to global warming.

|
Storage / Bar Code Systems:
|
All materials are stored in tamper evident containers and indexed according to a number and bar coding systems that are maintained in two location independent databases.
